In the Jenifa Diary TV Series “Adaku” who’s
popularly known as Lolo 1, is an OAP,
comedienne,
LOLO1 stated that she took the pictures to
create a unique style in her looks and fashion
style.
Omotunde is a graduate of law from the Lagos
State University, with a natural flair and love for
communication. An On-air personality and a
News reader for CoolFM & WazobiaFM.

She says: I am a humorous, social and an
extremely extroverted personality who loves to
entertain. I love to have fun and do fun things; I
love to read and am also an incurable romantic.

My philosophy in life is that life is an endless
circle, everything always comes around, so I love
to do to others what I would love done to me.
Besides all, I am an energetic and eclectic lady.

Excerpts From An Interview She sometime Had
below:
Celebrity On Air Personality, Omotunde
Adebowale-David popularly known as Lolo 1 of
Wazobia FM thrills listeners with her lovely voice
every now and then. The ebony hued and
vivacious comedienne speaks about her career,
marriage and other issues in this interview with
ORUKPE NELSON
Why do you call yourself Lolo 1 when you are
not an Igbo?
Well, I just know that Nigeria is one and there is
unity in everything. I am a Yoruba girl, so why
can’t I have a little Igbo part of me? So, I am
just being a Nigerian.
How do people react when you introduce yourself
as Omotunde akaLolo 1?
That’s what really sells and stands me out.
People are shocked, they say this is Lolo and she
is Yoruba, I will like to know this woman. So, it
is always a good thing.

What are the challenges of being an On-Air-
Personality?
It is not easy. It is even harder now that we
have started Wazobia Television. I have to wake
up as early as 4am. I think everything is about
discipline and what you want to achieve in life. If
you really know that this is something you want
to do, then, your body will just adjust to it.
There is a price for hard work and there is no
price for it than hard work. I think I have been
doing this job for like 11years but I have worked
with Wazobia for six years.

What stands you out as an OAP?
I think I am an excessively humorous person. I
am a very entertaining person, very in tune with
counselling and people just gravitate towards it
and it works with me perfectly.
How do you joggle roles as a wife, mother and a
broadcaster?
I set priorities. There are priorities to everything.
A woman cannot just be limited to one thing; we
are multitasks naturally the way God has made
us. The most important thing is to set your
priorities and know how to run your home and
you are fine.

How is your daily life like?
Once I wake up, I pray and take my bath. If I am
by myself, I get into my work schedule and I am
off to work. If I am at home, of course I wake
up; attend to the kids and the day starts from
there.

What informed the Oga Madam Live on Stage
show?
Oga Madam Live on Stage is my comedy side
where I do stand-up comedy, drama, skit and
everything. Three years ago, I decided to start a
stage comedy skit show to see if people will like
it, and a lot of people like the show. So, we have
been doing it three years running. I have done
two in London, I am going to be doing the third
edition in May in London and I am going to be
doing the first edition in America soon. Next year,
I am going to be doing a tour with Oga Madam
live on stage.
What makes you proud to be a woman?
I love being a woman because we are natural
multi-taskers. God has given us the soft side of
Him so that means we can feel more than the
men can. As I am doing my job, I could be
empathic, sympathetic, understanding and that
is being beautiful as a woman.

What does it take to attract listeners to a radio
programme?
There is nothing it takes than being yourself,
original and creative. People want to listen to
something they have never heard.

What has life taught you?
Life has taught me that it is an endless circle.

What goes round always comes around.
What excites you about life?
Life makes me happy. People make me happy.
Every time I see the difference that there is in
every individual’s face, I am just amazed at how
people could be so different and yet we are still
humans.

How do you relax?
I read books a lot. I like Christian romance a lot.
I like thrillers and I also like to watch series. I
dance, I sing and I am at home with water.
You have lost some weight. What is the secret?
I have started to exercise. Everybody that knows
me, know that I have dropped tones of weight.
And I think it is good to have a healthy lifestyle.
I don’t diet but I live a healthy lifestyle. I make
better health choices.

SEE WINNER FOR MISS AMERICA 2016

Miss Arkansas, Savvy Shields won the Miss
America pageant Sunday night in Atlantic City.
She beat 52 other contestants to win the crown
and the title of Miss America 2016, succeeding
the outgoing Miss America Betty Cantrell.
Shields performed a jazz dance to a song from
the TV show "Smash," for which she won a
preliminary competition earlier in the week.
During the onstage interview portion of the
competition, she was asked what she thought of
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton,
one of several political questions asked of the
contestants. "Both of the contestants have done
a good job, but they also need to watch what
they're doing," she said.
The runners-up were: Fourth runner-up, Miss
Mississippi Laura Lee Lewis; third runner-up,
Miss Washington Alicia Cooper; second runner-
up Miss New York Camille Sims; first runner up
Miss South Carolina Rachel Wyatt.
The first openly gay contestant in the Miss
America pageant was eliminated Sunday night
when the top 15 finalists were chosen.

I Hyped My Cousin For 4 Years – HKN Music Star, B-Red Opens Up On Alleged Beef With Davido, Mayorkun

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Punch’s
Sunday Scoop, Bayo Adeleke, aka B-Red, who is
signed on with HKN Music label, and is also a
cousin to multiple award-winning popstar,
Davido, said he is happy at the pace of his
growth.
Notwithstanding his average popularity in the
industry, many music lovers have refused to
acknowledge his talent. In fact, they are of the
opinion that his days as an artiste are numbered.
Some music critics are disappointed that his
career has not assumed a different dimension in
spite of Davido and HKN’s influence. Despite the
view of many, the heavily-tattooed musician says
he is happy where he is.
“Knowing that God has a plan for everybody, I am
comfortable with the unhurried pace. There was a
time I didn’t have a car or a Rolex, but look at
me now. Every year, I grow and I will get bigger,
so I am not in a rush. I am okay and content,” he
said.
B-Red who has also been accused of living under
Davido’s shadow said there is no shame in
leveraging on the star power of his cousin.
“In every group, you have a leader and I do not
care about being number one as long as I am
doing good, getting money and doing shows.
Davido is number one and we follow but you
never know, probably I’ll be as big as he is. If
your cousin is a star, won’t you want to be a star
too? I built my brand by hyping my cousin for
four years and look at where I am now,” he said.
B-Red who is busy promoting his new EP
released under HKN titled, “All The Way Up”, also
denied leaving HKN. While rebutting the story, he
confirmed he would be doing a collaboration with
Mayorkun, whom many insinuated that he is
envious of.
“There is no beef between me and Maryokun, we
are hitting the studio soon and doing something
together, I didn’t leave HKN and I am not leaving
HKN. I even have the HKN tattooed on my body.
My contract is very long. HKN is family and I am
not leaving,” he stressed.

‘I Don’t Have A Crush On Onyeka Onwenu’ – Legendary Singer King Sunny Ade Says

Juju music legend, King Sunny Ade,
has denied claims that he once had a
crush on ‘Iyogogo’ singer, Onyeka
Onwenu, stating that their
relationship is strictly professional.
He mentioned this during a press
parley on his 70th birthday, where
the world music pioneer, said their
romantic ‘Wait for me’ song
collaboration was nothing more
than a message for the youths.
“I didn’t have any crush on Onyeka
then. Even before that song, we had
recorded some songs together. She
was (and still is) just a colleague.”
“She is a good woman. We did that
song just for us to teach the young
people the essence of having a
healthy relationship.”
KSA, as he is also known, was not
patronizing concerning the thought
of marrying another wife.
He said, “Haba! How can I take
another wife? Is that a curse or are
you praying for me? I am not ready
for any new wife.”
The singer spoke of his birthday,
which is often a week celebration.
However, there will be a slight
change in this year’s event, which
will run till the end of 2016, with a
concert in Ondo State, the
hometown of the legend.
“My birthday celebration is usually
a one-week affair. But this year’s
birthday is different; the
celebration will go on till the end of
the year.”
“I started the celebration with
special prayer from the general
overseer of my Church, Pastor
(Enoch) Adeboye.”
“Later this month, there will be a
gospel music concert in my home in
Ondo. And on my birthday, which
is on September 22, my children
will celebrate me.”
“I will also visit orphanages. There
are so many activities lined up. I
belong to well over 70 clubs and
each of this club wants to celebrate
me. But the grand finale will come
sometime in October with a concert
where so many foreign artistes will
perform,” he said.

Acting Doesn’t Pay My Bills – Funke Adesiyan Reveals What Pays Her Bills

Popular Yoruba actress, Funke Adesiyan who is
known for her luxurious lifestyle and contested in
the last general elections at the Oyo State House
of Assembly, in this new interview with Punch
Spice, says acting doesn’t pay her bills but other
things does.
Background
I’m from Ibadan, Oyo State but I grew up in
Lagos. My family is a nuclear one even though I
was surrounded by cousins, nephews and other
relatives. I had a fun childhood and I was more of
a tomboy. I played a lot of football and I am still
in love with the game.
Acting
I started acting professionally in 2003. My first
experience as an actor was a TV series by Wale
Adenuga Productions. The first film I acted in was
produced by me in 2006. It was my first, not
because I didn’t get offers to partake in films
produced by other people, but because I had the
resources to produce my own film. Since the
storyline was a beautiful one, I didn’t want to
give it out to someone else. So far, I have
produced three movies. The last one was in 2010.
I then took a break to focus on my business.
Nollywood
I have also taken part in some English TV series. I
did some with Segun Arinze and Paul Obazele.
I’m limited to one part of the industry. Oftentimes,
I’m not available and that’s why I haven’t starred
in more English movies. It is not because I have
been tagged a ‘Yoruba actress.’ In fact, a lot of
people think Yoruba actresses don’t speak good
English.
Politics
I love what I experienced and I’m still in politics. I
decided to go to my hometown in Kudeti, Ibadan
to impact lives. I contested for a seat in the Oyo
State House of Assembly. Even though I didn’t
win the election, I feel delighted that I won the
love of the people.
Current project
Acting does not pay my bills and I try to be as
real as possible. I’m working on my business
which involves importing and selling of bathroom
accessories. I do souvenirs and I am into animal
husbandry. Very soon, I will add cash crops.
Marriage
I’m in a relationship and I’m happy in it. A lot of
people are married and are not happy while some
are single and are happy. People shouldn’t attach
so much importance to marriage. Life is too short
not to be happy. You don’t have to be married
because the society expects you to.

Pastor Arrested With 12 Stolen Children, Paraded By Police In Asaba

A popular radio preacher and founder of Gospel
Fire Army Ministry, Nkwele-Ogidi, AnamB.ra
State, Chinedu Strongson, has been arrested in
connection with child abduction and trafficking
in persons.
The 48-year-old cleric was paraded on saturday
at the police headquarters, Asaba, Delta State,
along with 43 other criminals arrested for
kidnapping, robbery, murder, cultism and car
theft.
According to the state police commissioner,
Zana IB.rahim, who paraded the suspects, 12
stolen children were rescued from the pastor,
adding that he allegedly paid N400,000 for each
child sold to him.
However, the pastor denied any involvement in
child trafficking, saying that his business was to
help humanity including payment of school fees
for children.
Trouble started for the pastor when one Aisha
Yahaya of Asaba reported how two ladies came
to her house as police detectives sent by her
husband now serving at Ogwashi Uku prisons.
Aisha disclosed that she followed them to a
junction where they met one Abigail Nwakama,
also known as Madam Cash, who gave her
N3,500 to alleviate her poverty and asked her to
buy clothes for her one -month-old daughter.
chinedu-walthIn the process, the said child was
allegedly stolen by the syndicate, prompting her
to raise the alarm which led to the arrest of the
two ladies.
Based on the report, the commissioner said
detectives swung into action and arrested one
Onyinye Nwakama, daughter of Madam Cash, at
a drinking bar in Asaba.
Also arrested were Madam Cash (32 years) and
Ifeoma Anyadike, (32) at Okpanam before they
led detectives to Ogidi where the pastor was
arrested.
Others arrested from different locations are
David Ikesinachi; Ebere Edwin, Adaeze Enyi and
Chike Agwunenu.
Two of the rescued children, the commissioner
of police said, had been handed over to their
parents while the remaining were kept at an
orphanage in Asaba pending identification by
their families.
In another development, one Chukwudi Ijeoma of
Aboh in Ndokwa East Local Government Area
was arrested in connection with the raping and
killing of a housewife, one Blessing Ogama, who
was previously reported missing.

Seven school girls caught having sex in a building

Seven secondary school students Ndhiwa,
Homa Bay, Kenya, have landed in hot waters
after they were caught having s*x.
All the students were arrested by the police
after they were caught in the act having s*x
orgies which took place in a residential house.
According to Tuko, the four boys and three
girls were found in the house on Wednesday
evening, September 7 dressed in school
uniforms.
Witnesses said the students have been
depicting a strange behaviour prompting
investigations by the locals.
“I have been interacting with these students
mainly to learn their behaviour. The boys
confessed to me that they have been engaging
in s*x orgies in the house,” he said.
The students, approached him to offer them a
separate room for the girls, however, he noted
that the students only separated the houses to
confuse residents.
These students were staying in different rooms
during the day but they were converging in one
room at night for s*x,” said another resident, A
bodaboda operator detained the students after
learning of their strange behaviour.
The students who attend different secondary
schools in Ndiwa constituency claimed they
had been sent away from school over fee
arrears.
Police raided the house after getting a tip-off
from the area residents who were alarmed by
the strange activities.
County Police Commander John Omusanga
confirmed the incident saying they students
will be arraigned in court once investigations
are complete.
The police are liaising with the Children’s
Department since they will be handled as
minors.
