On September 23, Jonathan’s daughter Faith Sakwe and her husband Godswill Edward also welcomed their first child. The baby girl was born in the USA and was christened Princess Eliana Godswill Edward.
On December 20, 2015 the former president joined his daughter and family to dedicate his granddaughter to God at the Word Illumination Ministry in Gwarimpa, Abuja.
