Coach Sunday Oliseh has revealed that six home-based players will be part of the team to travel to Tanzania to keep a date with the Taifa Stars in the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Eagles handler had already invited 23 home-based players to a camping exercise, and to be joined by the 18 foreign-based players expected to arrive after this weekend's games for their clubs.
Oliseh shared this piece of information on his Twitter handle late Thursday night.
"6 local players make it to join the final batch on Monday as we proceed to our final week before facing Tanzania." image

From Oliseh's tweet, there was no mention of the names of the '6 lucky Eagles home-based players' but  gathered that the six players picked by the former Super Eagles midfielder are Sunshine Stars duo of Prince Aggrey and keeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Solomon Kwambe of Warri Wolves, U23 star Mohammed Usman, Chima Akas of Sharks FC and Austin Obaroakpo of Abia Warriors.
Interestingly, one of Oliseh Twitter followers said something instructive by tweeting in the wee hours of Friday.
