In a swift reaction to the unexpected success of integrity Films and
with the fear that the producer may be taking over the Yoruba movie
market with his productions, a memo was said to have been circulated to
members of the film marketers’ association that nobody should deal with
Integrity Films or sell any of its films without the authorization of
the executives of the Yoruba Video Film Producers and Marketers
Association (YVFPMA).The association has its head office at the Nigerian Army Shopping Complex, The Arena Oshodi, Lagos. When contacted Oyekunle calmy stated: “there is no more trouble. What you must have heard was a minor misunderstanding. We are already mending the fences and soon all will be alright. All is well with us now.”
Meanwhile, there are speculations that the Idumota bigwigs have started making overtures to Busolato join YVFPMA.
